How we work

Our OD Process

Contract the Work

Agree the purpose, desired outcomes, sponsors, people involved and how we will work together.

Fieldwork

Listen, observe and gather the right inputs to understand how the situation is playing out.

Diagnosis & Sense-making

Bring the picture together with the people closest to the work, test what is emerging, and identify what needs attention.

Intervention

Design and support the right response, whether that is facilitation, leadership work, training, workflow redesign or something else.

Review & Re-contract

Review what is shifting, adapt the work where needed, and agree what happens next.

Common organisational challenges

Where OD support can help

  • Strategy is not translating into day-to-day work.
  • Roles, decision rights and hand-offs are creating friction.
  • Leaders need to align on priorities and ways of working.
  • Change is losing momentum or meeting resistance.
  • Teams are struggling to adapt to new technology or AI-enabled workflows.
Possible intervention approaches

How the work may take shape

After diagnosis and sense-making, we propose and co-design the intervention work with you. This may include facilitated working sessions, stakeholder conversations, leadership or team development, targeted learning, and changes to roles, processes or workflows.

The conversation is often part of the intervention

We create the conditions for teams to make the decisions that move their work forward.

When a decision depends on shared understanding across roles, teams or levels, we design and facilitate the work with the people who need to own it.

Through careful inquiry, observation and feedback, we help the group surface patterns, examine different perspectives and agree practical next steps. The aim is clarity, ownership and movement.

Bring the situation, not a pre-selected solution

We’ll help you decide what needs attention first, and whether an OD engagement is the right next step.
